Nestlé Diversity Day

Inclusion and diversity are part of Nestlé’s DNA

Diversity Day, Nestlé Germany

“Respect for Diversity” is not just a matter of being a part of Nestlé’s values. Diversity is also crucial to Nestlé’s business. Diversified teams achieve better results and are more innovative.

On June 5, about 100 employees from the HR Department were invited to the Nestlé Competence Center in Germany to experience diversity at Nestlé in a variety of different ways – and discuss how they themselves can promote diversity and a sense of belonging.

The event follows an earlier gathering – “With the Courage to Pursue a Career” – that took place on International Women’s Day, during which several Nestlé Senior Female Leaders talked to young professionals about how different their careers paths were and how they overcame challenges and obstacles. NESCAU® Strong Girls: Our advertisement is nothing but a reflection of our values and beliefs

As a global company that is present in the daily lives of millions from countless backgrounds, our ambition is to embed diversity and inclusion across everything we do. In order to achieve this, our efforts are focused across three core areas: innovation, society, and culture. A diverse and inclusive culture is a part of Nestlé’s DNA. Gender equality, women’s rights, universal education for women and girls, and their empowerment are critical elements for Creating Shared Value for our business and for society.

Our award-winning (Cannes Lions 2017) ad NESCAU® Strong Girls campaign from October 2016 celebrates the role of sport in helping girls develop to be successful, confident women. Our advertisement is nothing but a reflection of our values and beliefs. NESCAU® Strong Girls campaign is thus, simply an extension of our commitment to aligning ourselves with the values of our consumers – of our commitment to diversity.
